EE Times has the list of ten emerging technologies to watch in 2010

  1. Biofeedback or Thought Control Devices - These are already in some game controllers.  This industry will explode in the coming years.
  2. Printed Electronics - These should be hot off the presses in 2010.
  3. Plastic Memory - I know I should not think of Legos when I think of plastic memory.
  4. Maskless Lithography - This will be interesting to watch next year.
  5. Parallel Processing - Obviously, this needs to be figured out as we go into bigger and bigger multiple cores.
  6. Energy Harvesting - this just sounds very cool and the possibilities are boundless.
  7. Bio-electronics and wetware - as they said, more research with this group
  8. Resitive Ram or the memristor - TechSpectives wrote about this in 2008!
  9. The through-silca via - How high will they build?
  10. Various battery technologies - some discoveries were made this year that should be coming to market in 2010.

Will these technologies be out commercially next year, or will they still be just a niche idea?  Your thoughts?
