Can’t email large files at work? Try Senduit
Misc. May 27th, 2009
If you’re like us here at work and have a maximum file size limit (3MB) on all emails that you can send then this simple file sharing application is for you, Senduit. With Senduit you can send or share large files (up to 100 MB) for free and there’s no signup/login/registration, which makes using it a breeze.
It’s extremely simple to use:
1) Go to http://www.senduit.com/.
2) Locate the file you want to share.
3) Upload the file.
4) You will be given a URL where your file can be accessed
(send this URL to whoever you want to share this file with).
At this point, all the user has to do is click the URL and the file will start to download immediately.
So from now on, if anyone in my office (or yours) asks to setup a VPN or FTP site due to email restrictions so they can transfer large files…all you you have to do is direct them to Senduit.

@ Manish M. Shah:
Thanks, never knew about that site. It’s funny because on Thursday someone needed a file that was 125mb transfered over to them. I went to use Senduit and forgot that their file size limit was 100mb so I ended up using filedropper which has a 5GB limit and it worked great.
Thanks for the information though!
