Driving to California
Misc. June 10th, 2009I remember as a kid that when we drove from Arizona to California, there were two ways you could tell you had crossed the state line: You drove over the Colorado River and were stopped at the border to check for plants. The other way was passing all the windmills. In the future, a person will be able to tell when they cross into Arizona from California and are near Phoenix because of all the solar farms that a person will pass. Recently there was a solar land auction with more auctions to come. As we drive out, we will now see solar panel in Arizona and windmills in California – the landmarks of solar panels will look very good when coming home.
