Mind Control Wheelchair
Misc. July 9th, 2009This is pretty cool – Toyota develops a mind controled wheelchair.
Toyota (NYSE: TM) researchers in Japan have built a brain/machine interface (BMI) that has been demonstrated to control a wheelchair using a person’s thoughts. The system enables a person to make a wheelchair turn left or right to move forward simply by thinking the command.
First wheelchairs, and then the world! This is a great leap forward and will be able to be used in many ways. This brings up the need for semiconductors, electronics, automated manufacturing… How many jobs in how many fields will be created by this?
