More Feedback from “an all too familiar letter”
Education, Electronics September 18th, 2009The other day I wrote about Vino Scott’s feedback letter. I also promised Julie Formen’s of OP-TEC response.
12. Response from Julie Forman, Associate Director of Partnerships and Communications, OP-TEC: National Center for Optics and Photonics Education
My name is Julie Foreman and I am with the National Center for Optics and Photonics Education. We are one of the NSF-funded national centers and we work with community colleges across the nation to start new photonics programs or infuse photonics into existing programs, such as EET programs. We have a couple of partner colleges that have been successfully able to revitalize their EET programs in the last couple of years. This past year, we produced two papers about these partner colleges and how they were able to revitalize their EET programs.
Please feel free to download these papers at no charge from our website at: http://op-tec.org/curriculum/programplanning.php
The specific links to the paper PDF files are as follows:

If you have any questions about these papers or OP-TEC and our services, please do not hesitate to contact me. We would be happy to help any way we can!
Kind regards,
Julie Foreman
