I just wanted to wish everyone good luck for the upcoming school semester.  Our district starts this Saturday  so my online class has to be up and ready and my two in person classes as well.  So much to do and so little time it seems like.

IF you are going to be teaching an electronics course, I recommend heading over to www.matecnetworks.org and look at the digital library and type in electronics, or a specific topic in electronics.  There are hundreds of classroom ready resources, SME verified, waiting for you to use in your courses.   Why use a search engine and get 1 billion hits on electronics and waste valuable time looking for something you can use, when NetWorks has classroom ready resources and have been SME approved!

Two very good resources that I can highly recommend are keywords esyst and work ready electronics (wre).  Both of these are free for anyone to use who teaches electronics (thank you NSF) and updates electronics to a current generation instead of the outdatedness of textbooks.  WRE also has tests that will grade themselves and send you the grades.  Both have a lot and maybe I can get Tom McGlew, project manager for both, to blog a bit about them.

If you have used NetWorks digital library, or WRE, or even the new eSyst, and like what you have found, please share your experience here in the comment section.  Yes, I know, only 1% of 1% of the blog readers like to comment – but if you have used NetWorks or WRE or eSyst, and write you like it, then others will try the free digitial resource library. Good luck with the upcoming semester.  If there is anything NetWorks can do, or a resource you would like, please let us know.  NetWorks is here to help you and your students.
