This Friday – Free Webinar
Education, Webinars December 8th, 2009This semester I had a very interesting group of students – One student was in his seventies, another was forty-six, a few in their thirties, a bunch of twenty year olds, and finally a student who was sixteen. All in the same class. Four generations of students. The dynamics of this class is very interesting. You can’t teach the same way, nor can you have the same expectations. Nor are the student’s expectations are the same. What would have helped me the most is this Friday’s NetWorks webinar: Reaching and Teaching Across the Generation.
Today’s classrooms can contain up to four different generations of students – each generation having unique motivators, learning styles, and technology preferences. Examine generational differences, as well as pedagogical strategies and techniques to best engage your entire classroom.
I just got off the phone with Karl and he is really looking forward to this webinar. He also told me that his new book Learning in 3D: Adding a New Demension to Enterprise Learning and Collaboration will be here early next year and he is going to do a blog tour – with one of the stops is Techspectives! More on that later. But come, sign up for the webinar, it is free! See you Friday.
