This month we are having a lot of webinars.  If you are interested in Nanotechnology, this Friday NetWorks is hosting the NACK Nanotechnology in the Classroom Labratory.  Next Wednesday (11/18), the ATE Center, Evalua|t|e is hosting Evaluate Basics for New ATE Grantees.  And finally, eSyst a Systems View of Electronics will have its third in the serious of implementation webinars, Digital Fundamentals.  For registrations for these free webinars, click on each one for the link.

NACK Nanotechnology in the Classroom Labratory staff from the CNEU will be sharing some examples of laboratory and classroom activities that you can perform as well as additional resources that are available to help bring nanotechnology into your classroom if you have limited resources. One major topic of discussion will be remote access. Remote access allows you to utilize the Internet to control a suite of characterization equipment that is housed at Penn State. Remote users are able to see nanoscale materials and characterize their properties from their own institution without having to invest in purchasing or maintaining this equipment. These tools include a Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), and a Spectrophotometer.  Register here.
